As you may have noticed, I took a brief hiatus from blogging. I just completed my second year of Medical School and the end of the year brought on a few things: awe (how did I do this?), exhaustion (seriously, how did I do this?), joy (yes, I did this!) and of course, freedom! I spent the last week enjoying my time away from the books and my laptop. I spent time with my nearby loved ones, put my dog on an evolutionary diet (more on this later), and made myself some summer dresses and tops.
Side note: Taking short breaks/vacations from your job, school, things you love/enjoy is healthy! Remember to give yourself periodic breaks to clear your mind and reset.
I’m taking suggestions for upcoming topics, so if there’s anything you’re interested in learning more about, comment below.
Happy Summer!

Congrats Dr. Pre! What-a-year (sigh, reflect, get some rest). I would like to see some more on your sewing skills and your thoughts on social media's place in medicine. xo
Pulse! Just saw your post… I think I might post a quick "How-To" on sewing summer dresses :)More on social media to come – love that topic!
