I can’t believe it’s already October (insert wide eyed emoji face). I just got back from a weekend trip to New Jersey to celebrate my nephews 1st birthday. His actual birthday is today, which he shares with my mom. Happy Birthday Mom and Asher!
While we were away, my mom and I also took some time to visit the Canadian side of Niagara Falls and it was spectacular. Have you been? It’s definitely something you have to see at least once.
Aside from traveling and visiting family, I’ve also been crafting and baking. So far, I’ve made an apple pie and dark chocolate pumpkin loaf. Next on my list: a pear tart.
I’ve also been eating kiwis like candy because they’re finally in season. Did you know kiwi season is October – May? No? I didn’t either. After cutting one up to put on my yogurt last week and feeling how silky smooth my hands felt afterwards, I felt inspired to make a face mask.
